Lesson Five - Plants and their Environment
Key Concepts:
- Living things have adaptations that help them survive (eg camouflage in some animals, thorns, waxy leaves)
- Plants and animals from around the world have particular features suited to the environment in which they live (eg pandas eat bamboo; lions blend in with the savannah)
- How natural environmental changes can impact on living things (eg frogs burrowing during drought, and locust plagues)
